Why does my Sky digi box keep going to standby?
This happens overnight, and has just happened this morning when I have the TV switched on. I’ve tried getting an answer from Sky, but all they will say (eventually, after weeks!) is we may have a loose connection. No, I’ve checked. And why would this suddenly happen in any case when the sets have been working fine for months!!? I can understand it going to standby overnight (a green thing?) but during the morning, when we are using the TVs?
Evil W – I just checked and the auto switch on was showing ON. So I’ve changed it to OFF …. quite how it went to ON is anybody’s guess – creepy!
Mine kept going on standby, until I changed the settings.
Go into ‘Services’ and turn ‘Auto Standby’ OFF.
